EasyGeek FAQ's ==================== Q. What is EasyGeek? A. EasyGeek is all about making tech stuff easy for non-geeks, whether they are kids that want to know more about tech, average users that want to keep their computer working properly and securely and get the most out of their computing experience, or parents that just want to be able to keep their kids safe online. Our goal is to provide knowledge to those who need it, while taking away their fear of the unknown. We also advocate the use of Linux and dedicate many of our articles to it, but we write Windows/Mac related articles too, as well as internet, security, and general computing-related ones.
Q. I already know a lot about computers and tech. Will EasyGeek bore me? A. Not at all! While our main goal is increasing the knowledge and potential of non-savvy users, that does not mean that we focus totally on their level. We write articles and answer questions on all different levels, from how to get the most out of basic use to the exact steps a hacker will take when attacking your computer and how to protect against them. We also allow users to request and submit articles because our goal is to become a massive tech knowlege database. No matter your level of computing experience, you will find useful, intriguing information here at EasyGeek.
Q. What is the purpose of the EasyGeek forums? A. The forums serve many purposes. One is to provide tech support for our members. Another is to serve as a medium of conversation and be a place where our users can keep in touch and talk about what interests them. A third reason is to help facilitate the sharing of knowlege directly between members.
